These workshops are being held in an effort to increase staff understanding of the IB Core Courses, to make staff more IB conversant, and to help teachers draw connections between their courses and TOK/PPS. All staff will participate in a mock TOK and a mock PPS class. The morning will culminate with a department debrief where teachers apply what they learned about TOK and PPS to their own courses or professional work.
Participants will attempt to identify objects by touching them without seeing them. We will then unpack the manner in which participants determined what the object was using the WOKs and then visually examine the objects given the lens of the AOKs.
